TORONTO – Terence Davis played with Fred VanVleet for four and a half minutes on Sunday evening and drilled a three-pointer to drive him above the 30-point mark.
Just like VanVleet had created it.
Davis, with a bit of support from his teammates, scored 31 points on his career high and increased the Toronto Raptors to 129-102 in Chicago, extending the league's best winning streak to 11 games.
The Raptors are just one win from their longest winning streak in franchise history.
"The boys always found me," said Davis, who had 13 points in the fourth quarter. "Fred, he said I had 28, so he gave me the ball again to get 30. I thought it was pretty cool."
Pascal Siakam had 17 points, while Serge Ibaka came on at 16 for the Raptors (36-14), which had seven players in the double digits. Chris Boucher had 15 points, Kyle Lowry 14, VanVleet 12, Patrick McCaw 10.
The Raptors lacked Norm Powell, who broke his finger in Detroit on Friday in the fourth quarter, Marc Gasol (thigh) and Rondae Hollis-Jefferson (ankle).

Thaddeus Young led Chicago (19-33) with 21 points.
Davis, who previously scored 23 points, was not included in the Rising Stars game as part of the NBA All-Star Weekend and admitted that he was "in the back of his mind" during his offensive outbreak.
"Throughout the season, I would rather play in the playoffs than … not to say that I don't want to play in the game because it's a pretty special event. But I would rather play in the playoffs," said Davis, who had six threes on a crackling night with 12:15 shooting.
Ibaka has taken the Raptors rookie under his wing this season. The two often go upstairs to the practice range to shoot after the games. Davis joked that he was afraid to eat junk food on team flights in front of the experienced Big Man.
Ibaka had nothing but praise for the 22-year-old on Sunday.
"Man, it was beautiful," said Ibaka. "From the first day I saw him, I knew he had talent. But even with talent, you still have to have the right people around. He had a good game tonight, but (Monday) I'll tell him : & # 39; Yes, that was good, but you still have a long way to go. "& # 39;
The Raptors could not create any significant distance to a troublesome bull squad until the fourth quarter. The Raptors have gone up 95-85 in the last 12 minutes, their biggest lead on this point. McCaw's three point after four minutes in the quarter scored a 16: 5 run of a group of Raptor reserves, with the home team increasing 21 points.
Raptors coach Nick Nurse stayed with his bank group in the final minutes of the game. When Davis drilled a three-pointer 4:26 to score 25 points in Toronto, he was attacked by teammates when he went on the bench for a break.
"It felt really good. It just shows what kind of team that is, it's a great organization, we all love each other, we care about each other and I honestly don't want to be anywhere else," said Davis.

His words made Raptors newcomer Dewan Hernandez – who stood around with Davis around reporters – suppress false sobs.
"This is real talk, even though humans do it," said Davis.
Lowry said it's fun to celebrate each other's accomplishments.
"Ultimately, we take our work very seriously. And when we have the opportunity to cheer and have fun together, it means a lot," he said. "We don't take anything for granted. We are really serious about winning games and going out and competing. And when boys have good nights and set records and the like, we celebrate together."
In Davis' big afternoon, Raptors trainer Nick Nurse scratched his head.
"I always think about the games I play against him and I wonder what the hell I'm doing, that's the first thing I think about when he plays like that," said the coach.
"I don't really know what to say. I think he has a pretty good shoot component, right? You see it a bit like I did tonight, and that's usually the most difficult component, which there is league. "
VanVleet made another highlight of the night and brought Tomas Satoransky onto the back with a skilful crossover dribbling. VanVleet had a threesome in the game and the Raptors' bench burst with joy – Oshae Brissett, who had broken his ankles and fell into the arms of Malcolm Miller.
The Raptors won eleven games twice in a row: February 26 to March 16, 2018 and January 6 to 30, 2016. On Sunday, they beat the Bulls for the 12th time in a row, including two games earlier this season ,
The Raptors are second in the Eastern Conference and set the league's third-best record, despite being decimated by injury this season – 13 players missed the time for a number of injuries.
Powell's injury occurred when he played the best basketball in his career, achieving top scores in both points (15.3) and rebounds (3.9). The nurse said Hollis-Jefferson, who missed four games with a sprained ankle, could return on Wednesday. But the nurse said there was no update to Gasol that worsened his thigh injury that he'd missed a dozen games before. The veteran Big Man missed 15 games with the injury.
Siakam led the way with eight points in the first quarter, and his turnaround jumper in the middle of the field gave the Raptors a nine-point lead. The Bulls ran an 18: 4 run, but the Raptors responded with an 11: 3 run to close the quarter, leading 33:29 to start the second.
The bulls got hot from across the curve and joined seven of their three-point attempts in the second quarter. The leadership changed hands five times during this period and Chicago took advantage of 63:60 during the half-time break.
Notes: Nurse cheered in the Super Bowl on Sunday over San Francisco for Kansas City. "I grew up and spent three and a half hours north of Kansas City (in Carroll, Iowa). Not a Kansas City fan at all, but today I am."
