MANILA, Philippines – Jia Morado is helping to support frontliners in the fight against COVID-19 in the Philippines.
The multiple-titled setter put her white jersey from her last year at Ateneo up for auction from the starting bid at P1.200 with the used personal protective equipment (PSA),
"To help those who have sacrificed so much to ensure the safety of our countrymen, I will auction off one of the most memorable jerseys I have," Morado wrote on Twitter.
Those wishing to participate in the auction can submit their bids on the Every Little Thing Counts Facebook page until April 1 at 12 noon.
Morado, who is also a national player, was a two-time UAAP champion and the best setter in the league in season 77.

With six Best Setter plums, three final MVP trophies and three titles in the Premier Volleyball League, she also had a good CV in the club competition.
Morado also started a fundraiser in which donors can only donate P10 via GCash to 09959277463. The proceeds will be used to purchase personal protective equipment, N95 masks and surgical gloves for medical personnel at the Jose Reyes Memorial Medical Center and the Philippine General Hospital.
