MANILA, Philippines – TNT used a third fiery period to tear the carpet from Meralco (101-97) and take control of the triple semi-final duel in the PBA Governors’s Cup on Thursday evening at the Araneta Coliseum in Cubao to take over.
All KaTropa starters were able to achieve double-digit scores, with Troy Rosario leading the way with 25 points.
"We were much, much better in defense than in the last game," said coach Bong Ravena, whose charges prevented a win from winning a final.
"Their backs are leaning against the wall so we couldn't afford to be carefree," he added, receiving the goods again from Allen Durham, who finished with 32 points, 19 rebounds and seven assists ,
