MANILA, Philippines – NorthPort defeated Barangay Ginebra (124-90) for a decisive lead in the duel for the three-semifinals at the PBA Governors & # 39; Cup 2019 on Sunday evening at the Araneta Coliseum in Cubao.
Import Michael Qualls achieved the best results in the team with 38 points and 15 rebounds to help Batang Pier maintain their championship over the darlings of the audience.
Garvo Lanete threw 24 points based on precise long-range shooting, while three more were thrown in double digits.
"Maybe we just caught Ginebra on her night. We're also the hungrier team," said north coach Pido Jarencio. "But it's all a product of teamwork."
