Outstanding national team players Iain Ramsay and Luke Woodland will support two League 1 Thai clubs next season after they recently completed their transfers.
Ramsay, who had a strong campaign against relegation survivor Sukhothai last season, moved to Prachuap FC, a club that finished ninth in the T1 with 16 players, while Woodland moved to Ratchaburi Mitr Pohl, where Manny Ott, Amin Nazari and Javier Patiño played last season.
Ramsay scored in the 2-1 victory over the Maldives for the Azkals last month after playing all 30 league games for Sukhothai.
Woodland, who can play in midfield and defense, played only 16 games for Kuala Lumpur FC in Malaysia before being released earlier this year.
The Thai League allows three Southeast Asian players per club, with Filipinos being the most preferred by the teams. Last season, 17 Filipinos were part of T1 clubs. INQ
