AC Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimović has set up a fundraiser to help Italian hospitals at the center of the coronavirus outbreak.
According to the website that accepts donations, Ibrahimović donated 100,000 euros to the fund. It quickly brought in another 10,300 euros.
The website states that the money raised "will be donated directly to Humanitas to strengthen the intensive care and emergency departments of the hospitals in Milan, Bergamo, Castellanza and Turin".
Italy was the second most affected country with more than 31,000 cases of the virus.
The 38-year-old Ibrahimović returned from the Los Anegles galaxy to Milan in January. He has also played for Italian clubs Inter Milan and Juventus.
